The Penn State Wrestling program has a proud tradition of excellence both on and off the mat. In 99 years of intercollegiate competition, Penn State has finished in the top ten (Division I) nationally 40 times and its wrestlers have won 20 national titles. Equal to the task in the classroom as well, Penn State wrestlers have earned a substantial number of academic All-America honors. The ethos imparted into the wrestlers who become part of the Penn State program helps enable these young men to become good, productive members of society. Follow the Penn State Wrestling program this season as Penn State takes part in its 100th year of Division I wrestling competition.
